In the mood for something easy, and this season’s vegetable selection? Homemade pizza is one of my favorite dinners that can be pulled together within a matter of minutes.

One of my favorite things about homemade pizza is the ability to be adventurous with my sauce and toppings.
I always tend to lean towards a white pizza with an olive oil, garlic base and then top with slices of fresh mozzarella, shredded mozzarella, and vegetables of the season. (In the summer, corn on top of pizza is delicious).
You can also opt for pizza dough and roll your own pie, or go with my favorite, Stonefire Artisan Thin Crust Pizza that you can find in the deli at most Publix or Kroger.

For tonight’s pizza, I chose to top it with turkey pepperoni, sundried tomatoes, onions and peppers.
So so easy.

Ingredients:
1 - Stonefire Artisan Thin Crust
2 cups of shredded mozzarella (the amount of cheese is up to you)
1 ball of fresh mozzarella, sliced (cheese section in your grocery store)
½ yellow onion, diced
½ green pepper, diced
6 sun-dried tomatoes, diced
Turkey Pepperoni
Base:
3 Tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
2 garlic cloves, minced
Instructions:
1. Pre-heat your oven to 400 degrees.
2. Mix the olive oil and garlic together before spreading on top of the pizza crust
3. Sprinkle shredded mozz and place fresh mozz slices evenly
4. Add your toppings
5. Place in the oven on 400 degrees for 10-minutes or until cheese is fully melted
6. Enjoy!
